RoadListo Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the RoadListo mobile app ("the app"), provided by Mohamed Fouad ("we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The most important points: RoadListo is a practice tool, not an official source. Always check the current official Texas DPS Driver Handbook, and do not rely on the app alone for the rules or for passing your test.
Not affiliated with any government agency
RoadListo is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Texas Department of Public Safety or any other government agency. The app does not offer the official driving test and does not issue permits or licenses.
For practice only
The questions, explanations, and sign illustrations are written for practice. Our questions are not the official test questions, and the format of the official test may differ from the app's mock exams. Traffic laws and test requirements change, so some content may be out of date or contain mistakes despite our efforts. The sign images are practice illustrations, not official artwork. We do not guarantee that you will pass any test, and you are responsible for checking the official handbook and your local rules.
Your license to use the app
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your own devices for your own non-commercial study. You may not copy, sell, rent, or distribute the app or its content. You may not reverse engineer the app, scrape its content, or use it in a way that breaks the law or the rules of the app stores.
Free version, ads, and Premium
The app is free to download. The free version shows ads and limits some features, such as the number of mock exams per day. Premium removes ads and unlocks unlimited mock exams. We may change which features are free and which are Premium in the future.
Purchases
- Payment: purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the price shown there before you confirm applies. Local taxes may be added.
- One-time purchases are charged once. Subscriptions, if offered, renew automatically at the price and interval shown in the store until you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or earlier if your store requires it).
- Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot process refunds ourselves.
- Restoring: if you reinstall the app or get a new device, use "Restore purchases" in the app, signed in to the same store account.
Content and ownership
The app, its questions and explanations, translations, drawings, and design belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. The Texas DPS Driver Handbook is published by the state; our questions are written in our own words based on its information. These terms do not give you ownership of anything in the app.
Third-party services
The app uses services from other companies, including Apple, Google (including AdMob), and RevenueCat. Their own terms and policies apply to what they provide. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them as they relate to your use of the app on Apple devices.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the app will always work, be error-free, or be accurate and up to date.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of the app, including failing a test, delays in getting a license, or traffic violations. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end access to the app if you break these terms or if we stop offering the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Travis County, Texas, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
